The Wisdom of Columbia County is a cantata whose lyrics, by Margaret Trenchard-Smith, provide snapshots of what is now called Columbia County in Oregon from before Europeans invade to the present. The European story is “braided” with Native American songs from the Miwoc tribe - telling their side of the story as each century progresses.
